CAPIH Charitable Foundation is an arm of CAPIH. It was establish to provide bursaries and offer medical assistance to those with little or no access due to it’s on facing after affects of natural or manmade calamities.

To receive and maintain a fund or funds and to apply and expend from time to time all or part thereof and/or the income therefrom for the following charitable purposes:

to make donations to registered Canadian charities and to universities outside Canada prescribed to be universities the student body of which ordinarily includes students from Canada;

Providing ready access to public healthcare knowledge
Observership program
Making observership opportunities available to both Canadians and Immigrants receiving their medical education from foreign countries. The primary goals of this program are:

Familiarize the IMG’s with the style of practice in Canada, including EMR (methodology, language , prescription, coding and phrases commonly used, methods of dealing with patients, nurses, physicians and hospitals, ordering lab / X-ray and other tests etc, in short, adapting to the system in Canada. It gives them an opportunity to learn or to refresh their memory of their medical practice that both the Physician preceptors and candidates must adhere to.
